Don't worry. I'm not going to go on some rant about the time change and how it's oddly exhausting losing an hour of your life suddenly. I also won't mention how as a blogger the time change is secretly exciting because it means an hour of extra photo light when you're off work.
What I will tell you, is about that moment last night when, thanks to my procrastination with changing the time on all of the clocks in my kitchen, I had to re-live the time change. After getting home from a lovely birthday dinner we threw for my mom (happy birthday MOM!! I love you!!) I thought I had lots of time to get stuff done before bed. In reality it was an hour later than I had thought and I had no time at all. I had lost an hour of my life for the second time.
... I still haven't changed those clocks and there is a pretty good chance this whole thing will probably happen again when I get home from work. Sooo... if you're reading this and I have plans with you anytime soon.... I'll probably be an hour late
I have to agree with you, the extra hour of light for photographs is great. Also, that dress is so cute!
ReplyDeleteOkay is that blazer a recent find? I'm guessing not but hoping so because it looks exactly like a Zara blazer. And I love the cut of that dress. AND yay for an extra hour of photo time after work! Such a huge thing!

The dress, the dress! It's so pretty! I also know exactly what you mean about time change. I mean, I love how it's lighter in the morning (it makes it easier to get up) but I'm still struggling to get to sleep at a reasonable hour.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
So cute! Love the dress! xoLili

I totally know what you mean. This time change definitely has its negatives when it first changes. xx. McKenna Lou

Oh that happened to me last night too! I was thinking it was 8pm and it was 9 which meant close to bedtime since I wake up so early for work! It usually takes me a week to feel right after a time change, how silly!

The time change actually worked in my favour last night: Instead of feeling like I was dancing at 3am, I was only dancing at 2am and therefore more alert. :)
ReplyDeleteI loooooved having an extra hour of light after work today - for all the trouble the time change is, it was kind of nice to come home in daylight!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit - especially love the pumps!
Really love this look, simply but glam and feminine
