Have I ever told you that I used to be involved in theater? Well, I was. I was a theater brat growing up and I credit my dramatic flare to my time on stage. Growing up that dramatic flare often got me into trouble during arguments (who doesn't love a girl that can burst into tears at the drop of a hat?) so I've toned that down over the years. I haven't done a show in a long time but right now, as I type this, I am sitting next to a script for an upcoming show. I feel so rusty but after the first read through as a cast it felt really good to be getting back into it. The only challenge is that my character is a horrible person and I have to be quite the bitch... which is obviously a huge stretch for me (don't... say... anything)
Fellow childhood theatre geek here! I'm impressed you're getting back into it after a hiatus!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I used to be a theatre kiddo myself! I can imagine it would be nerve-wrecking getting back into but I know you'll do great!
