What do you wear when you meet Leandra Medine, the witty and creative lady behind the famous blog Man Repeller? I chose vintage. I considered putting together my best 'Man Repeller" look for the occasion but I realized that trying to recreate the looks she is known for when meeting her would be setting myself up for failure. There is no way my attempts would even compare to her genius. It would be like singing a Celine Dion song to Celine Dion if I met her. I'm not really sure why I'd ever meet Celine Dion but I do know that I wouldn't start belting out 'my heart will go on'. I'd start rapping, naturally.
Thanks to Secret Location for hosting such an amazing event.

I LOVE this outfit - you chose perfectly! Love the Celine Dion analogy, and love the idea of you belting out my heart will go on... perhaps while dressed like the man repeller? Either way, you looked gorgeous, LOVE the colors in this dress and adore that bag! Pretty, pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe print of your dress is awesome! Looks like it was a great event :). I love Leandra's blog! Must have been fun to see her in person.
