When asked if loose or tight clothes are more flattering on my body type, I chose loose. As long as I emphasis my waist I feel better in clothes that flow away from my hips. That doesn't mean that I will never wear form fitting clothing but on an average day I feel my most confident when I'm not pulling down, adjusting or fixing my clothes. I was honoured to join the conversation about loose vs tight on the Fashion Canada Style Panel this week! Take a look at what some other bloggers said about how they dress their body type.
congrats on doing the Fashion Canada Style Panel! I think you totally deserve it :)

Congrats on your new style panel gig!
ReplyDeleteHi Melissas - long term reader, first time caller:
ReplyDeleteI am a recent convert to shapewear - a shaper tank under a fitted top acutally makes me look leaner than a flowy top with no tank. And a rule that was new to me was - if your top is fitted then your bottom should be loose, and visa versa - and this has been a revalation!
cheers
Lori
so pretty! I love this look!

Good post. My body type just changed after having a baby, and I so need more loose clothes now.

I love this look! Perfect for a curvy body like myself. Love the lace with the puffed sleeves and the flared skirt. So cute!!
