While I was deciding if I should talk about this with all of you and how to approach it, I was asked if I would be a guest on the Sunday night sex show (get your minds out of the gutter you pervs) on CKNW (980) to discuss how fashion can help women feel confident and in turn, help them feel their sexiest. I will be on between 8:15pm and 8:40pm this Sunday night and I'm really looking forward to talking about a topic that has been so actively on my mind. With my confidence being so up and down right now it's really becoming evident that fashion and style has such a positive affect on it. I'm nervous though! Time to go practice my radio voice!
i love this outfit so much :)

As a new fashion blogger (and a rising high school senior), I find that I often feel unconfident in my endeavors, as well. I've always found it interesting how people can feel so shy and unconfident and yet pose for pictures on the Internet (I also work with models from time to time, though I am not one myself). Regardless, you are a beautiful lady and you have every reason in the world to love yourself. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're so brave to take on a challenge like going on the radio - I'm sure you're going to be amazing! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious. You are new to the dating world again after a long term relationship, yes? I found dating killed my self-esteem. I've been on a "manbatical" since January and have never felt better. I have turned my radar for potential life mates on low. I'm focusing on myself, my own interests and loved ones. I may be completely off base, but thought I would share.
ReplyDeletegood luck! you're going to do great!
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way, I don't really like to air out my dirty laundry on my blog because I know so many people that I know in real life read it. But rest assured that I think we've all been there at some point or another. I know I have dealt with my fair share of confidence issues and it seems to go up and down for me too. Good luck on the show tonight!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I've been really behind in blog reading and have just seen the new blonde hair! I really love it! :)

Good for you for discussing it publicly love - I feel like oftentimes, when someone has a following it can be hard to be honest about everything, especially things that can be vulnerability-inducing, so it takes a lot of courage to discuss it! And it's important to speak about it too because everyone has issues with it at some point or another (granted, there's nothing that you have to be unconfident about in the least!). You'll do amazingly on CKNW, break a leg love!

You look gorgeous. I like this outfit a lot. I feel the same way - a lot of people I know in real life read my blog, and I feel weird about them knowing certain things. Good luck with the show tonight, that's really exciting!
ReplyDeleteIt's so unusual, looks gorgeous on you! Xx
