I've been sickity sick all week so since I've been living in sweat pants I thought I would finally get around to telling you about the Lush event I attended recently. They launched a new cosmetic line, Emotional Brilliance, and I had the opportunity to take a sneak peek. There is a wide variety of rich and vibrant colors for your lips and eyes (priced at $22.95) and all of them are vegan. They also have a translucent powder and a few skin tints (priced at $18.95) that feel fantastic on the skin.
It was also amazing to have a face mask made right in front of us. We knew that Lush products were handmade but until you stand there and watch the kiwi and asparagus being pureed and put into the mask you don't quite grasp how handmade they are.
The Emotional Brilliance line launched in Lush on the 21st and if you haven't had a chance to check it out I definitely recommend that you do.

I am Lush obsessed. We don't have one on PEI and it's quelled my addiction somewhat, but I still have a stockpile from my last visit to the Ottawa shop before moving back home. I haven't checked out this line-up yet but I will have to!
