I wore this dress & blazer combo to an event earlier this month and the photos got lost on my desktop. That doesn't happen to me often but when it does, it's pretty much the best discovery ever.
I was just chatting with Alicia about our love/hate relationship with dresses. We love them because they are so girly and easy, but hate them because it's difficult to style them in different ways. I've worn this dress two different ways now but styling it again will probably be a bit of a challenge....
Challenge Accepted.
You look amazing and the black drop is gorgeous!

I love the colour of this dress, it's so pretty! And I like how you've styled it with the white blazer too! THe contrast with the lovely flowers in the background helps the colours pop too = fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI love that dress so much as I said before! It looks great the both ways you've styled it!

Wear it as a skirt or a top! I loove dresses, but I agree they are hard to style.

i feel the same way about dresses! loving the bright flowers in the background here in contrast to your white blazer and green dress. maybe try wearing a sweater on top so it looks like a skirt ... or a vest, with a belt holding vest and dress together?

People are digging the photo location. NBD ;) I love the ways you've managed to style this dress so far, who would have thought a bright green would be so versatile?! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya!!! I was just thinking about how I have so many dresses but they aren't super versatile! I love this green dress on you, so pretty! Have a great weekend!

I was just having this conversation with another blogger too! It's frustrating because dresses are so easy, but so hard at the same time. Oh well, either way I have faith you'll come up with another different look with the dress :)
ReplyDeleteThat green is amazing on you.. makes your eyes POP alright... have a great long weekend.. no sun today but hopefully tomorrow for my ride :) ciao J
ReplyDeletei'm so with you on the dress issue! there's only so many dress+accessories+shoes combinations!
ReplyDeleteI love this dress... the color is beyond amazing next to your skin! Some other styling ideas... wear it like a skirt by throwing a light sweater over it, wear it with a utility vest to give it some tomboy chic charm, or wear it backwards (I have some dresses that have really cool backs with decent coverage!)
