{Wearing: Zara Blazer, Modcloth Dress (old), Banana Republic Pumps (old), Coach Lindsey Bag, Barefoot Contessa Necklace, Coach Sunglasses}
Spring is here which means I have to put together my Spring Survival Kit. Mostly it's just Spring dresses, sunglasses, kleenex and a whoooole lot of allergy medicine. I'm talking boxes and boxes full of allergy medicine. I'm not sure exactly how much I have spent on allergy medicine over the years but if I were to make a rough estimate I'd guess about... 14 million dollars. Give or take a few dollars.
The last few years my allergies haven't been awful but this year I can already tell they are going to be horrible. So if I'm wearing sunglasses in a lot of pictures It's not because I like sunglasses, it's because my eyes are itchy and red. Oh, and there is a really good chance I'll have kleenex in all of my pockets. (Sadly I'm not kidding. If you look at the pockets of my dress they are lumpy. Those lumps are kleenex).
love the bright blazer with the white lace. I have a lace dress, now to find a bright blazer. :)
ReplyDeletebeautiful combo!

Best thing I ever learned from my GP: you can buy your allergy medication in generic form from the pharmacist for a fraction of the cost. I was both incredibly grateful and monumentally pissed off to learn this. Check the active ingredient on the kind you like to use and ask the pharmacist for the generic version they have stashed back there. Or ask your GP to write it out for you.
ReplyDeleteLove your dress :)

ReplyDeleteI think the kleenex lumps give the dress a peplum silhouette feel. You're so on-trend...allergy chic. But seriously, love this look, one of my faves as of late! The blazer is beyond stunning and I love the colour combo.

such a cute outfit, I love the shade of the blazer too. I have so many myself, but love this colour, goes really well with the dress too

ReplyDeleteUghh I know how that is! This last weekend the weather was beautiful, but my allergies sooo awful. My nose is still red and dry from all the kleenex I used (they must earn a fortune from us allergy peeps). Allergies or no allergies, you're looking stunning in these pictures!

I'm so sorry to hear that you have these problems with allergies! I'm luckily among the happy ones that aren't affected by this, but I have some quite good friends, who have horrible allergies and I know how awful this can be!
ReplyDeletebut for so far - I'll take you with you with your sunglasses, that's good! if you were italian that wouldn't even be something exceptional - italians wear always sunglasses even if the sun is not shining - and at least the sun is shining in your photos!

I don't have allergies but you're right about the spring survival kit - I need to round up my spring dresses, coats and other key pieces because right now I am drowning in winter! This outfit of yours has totally inspired me to get my shiz together!
