Blazers are Back

I think my favourite combo of blazer, blouse & jeans had overstayed it's welcome on my blog. After spending most of 2010 and 2011 posting photos of me in different versions of this outfit I really tried my best to add more variety to my wardrobe. Skirts entered the picture and I added a few other coats to my closet. But truth be told, I still feel my best in a good blazer, blouse and jeans. Even though I don't post too many photos of this combo I still wear it rather frequently and I just couldn't resist sharing this emerald blazer with all of you. I am pretty sure my regular outerwear rotation will be this blazer, my blue coat and my fur vest.... you've been warned.

    Your blazer/blouse/jeans combo is like my usual cardigan/blouse/jeans combo: it's worn so often that one just defaults to it when one is pressed for time.

    Ah, why mess with a good thing? I love the blazer, blouse, jean combo on you. It's clean, it's modern, it's sophisticated - what's not to love. Although I can relate to the overdoing it aspect. My safe go-to outfit is a dress with a blazer, and my husband gets so tired of seeing that look on me, but what can you do? When it works, it works! :)

    That is my daily staple as well.. Jeans, blazer, blouse. It's a classic and why mess with it? haha I LOVE those heels! AHHH I need to go to the city to Zara so I can pick up some stuff I don't need haha.

    Do not feel bad in the least - that is definitely my uniform for a Monday morning. I've gotten loads of wear out of my classic black blazer, but it is literally starting to fall apart at the seams and I've been debating everything when considering a new one. And then you have to come along with your NON-NEUTRAL (sort of) blazer and I have ANOTHER thing to consider, haha. Ah well, more shopping...could be a lot worse!
