Let's just get it over with and talk about what all of you are thinking, that my dress is horribly wrinkled. I have worn this dress before and know that as soon as I put it on and sit down it's going to be a wrinkled mess so I can't even play dumb. I just like it. It's a pretty color and comfortable so I just have to avoid mirrors all day while wearing it so I don't have to face the reality of my wrinkles. I also use this mirror avoidance technique on bad hair days, during the appearance of any breakouts, and on days where I forget to put mascara on one eye and leave my make up at home by mistake (it happened). Of course taking photos of myself makes that whole avoidance thing a little more difficult. So how about we all get on the same avoidance page and pretend that my dress isn't wrinkled at all... deal? Brilliant.
You look great in that blue pea coat. Still loving being a brunette? It's a wonderful color on you:) XO

That beautifully bright colored jacket and the gorgeous pins make up for a little bit of a wrinkled dress for me! And you know how much I love those shoes...such a pretty, bright, happy outfit, perfect for the middle of December!

ReplyDeletethose vintage brooches look so pretty on that bright blue coat! i always feel like i look sloppy when i leave the house wrinkle-free, but when i go to take pictures it looks like i pulled my clothes out of the hamper!

Oh I like the brooches on your coat. I do that with my winter coats too. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, do I ever understand the clothes creases from a day of sitting at a desk. At the Kiss & Makeup media preview, I bought a bottle of The Laundress's Crease Release Spray, which promises to release wrinkles with a couple of spritzes. The instructions say the garment should be hung up as you're spritzing, but you can spritz yourself in what you're wearing. Genius! I haven't tried it yet, but I'll let you know how it goes.
That coat is so pretty! And I love how you added some broaches. I have quite a few broaches, but always forget about them so now there just sitting in a little jewellery box. What a waste!

Not even fibbing, if you hadn't said it I probably would NOT have noticed! Mostly because I was distracted by that amazing coat, honestly I try Old Navy all the time and hardly ever find anything I like, this one's beautiful though! And the way you added brooches to it totally elevated it, I thought it was some beautiful luxe vintage find. Stunning as always Melissa!
