I'm taking a little time today to write up some resolutions... It was definitely a little sad to see that I'd only completed 3 of 6 from this year. Better luck in 2012, I suppose?
i've decided this year to make goals instead of resolutions. This way, i feel like i'm working towards something rather than having to drastically change everything at the drop of a hot....new years day being that hat... we'll see how it goes!
That is such a beautiful coat, and even more beautiful with the addition of that bow pin...Love that you have such a great collection of pins! And...it depends on the resolution!! I guess it is a good to update your resolutions to make sure they are happy things, not things that make you feel bad. Happy Friday!! xo Cara http://www.afashionloveaffair.com
i am all about resolutions! i am still thinking of mine, and hope to have them up on my blog before the new year! i use them as goals to do things that make me happy and a better person in the year ahead. it is about moving forward and living for what you want
As for New Year's resolutions, like the other commenters have said, I like to think of them more like goals. I also believe that if you want something badly enough, you shouldn't wait until a new year to start working on it. You can set goals for yourself any time of the year!
I like to think in the glass half full kind of way, so that means I think resolutions are good! And you shouldn't punish yourself if they don't get followed through on either.
Anyway, I love your boots! :)
Happy New Year!

First I just want to say Happy New Year! Love love love the bow pin on your coat. It completes the outfit perfectly. I decided for this year I'm going to make a mix of goals/resolutions. Personally I find goals easier to keep and I like working towards something and keeping track. Still working on what those goals/resolutions are but I'll figure them out in a few days. Can't wait to hear what yours are!
I think it could go either way, depending on what frame of mind you are in! I think I just needed a reason to kick start a few goals or change over a new leaf. But in the past, I definitely didn't stick to my NY's resolutions. I actually posted my goals for 2012 today.
I love reading your comments so thank you for taking the time to leave them! If you have a question for me please make sure to leave an email address I can reach you at. Also, if you have a blog leave the url so I can stop by!
Lovely jacket!
