{That orange blouse is going to be spotted all over the blogosphere. I didn't end up buying it but I think every other lady at the event did!}
Walking into the grand opening of the H&M in Metrotown was surreal. The racks of clothing were untouched, there was wine and delicious appy's all around and everything was 20% off. Within minutes of arriving all of us ladies had arms full of amazing pieces, a cocktail in our hands and we still managed to chat and say hello to all our fellow bloggers.
That's talent my friends.
It was such a great evening and to top it off I got to meet some more of my favourite Vancouver bloggers. I managed to pick up a few goodies that I will be showing all of you very soon.
Thanks so much to LJ PR and H&M for putting on this event. If you haven't gone to check out the new H&M in Metrotown then I hope you get the opportunity to soon. It's 2 floors of shopping amazingness... I may or may not be already planning my next shopping trip.
yay this was so much fun, I was so excited that you were there...and thank you for being so helpful when it came to choosing what I was actually going to buy! You are awesome...and you look amazing, loving that lace blazer!

I am in love with your blazer! Lace and gray = amazing. Also I am super jealous of your pool. If you can have one in Canada I should be able to convince my husband that we need one in Minnesota!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely looks like a great evening. Curious to see your buys!

I was there on Wednesday night as well and was really impressed with the new store-it's much more open and easy to move around in than the downtown location. I couldn't enjoy the cocktails since I was driving but my friend really enjoyed them! I only picked up a couple of things, some accessories and a silky horse printed blouse.
ReplyDeleteYour lace blazer is just gorgeous-very unique piece.
It was nice seeing you that night, albeit too briefly. :)
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! H&M is the best :)

ReplyDeleteOh Melissa! I haven't had the chance to comment on any of your posts. But I do read :)
ReplyDeleteLOOOOVE the blouse you're wearing. That burnt orange is to die for!! And those darling details! GAH!
H&M is quite beautiful at Metrotown. It makes all the other H&M look like shambles. Love it.I didn't go to the opening :( but went the very next day and got myself a $10 polkadot dress. SO gorgeous and at a bargain!
I know that when you said "I didn't buy that orange blouse," what you really meant was "I didn't buy it for me but I'm sending it to MF b/c I love her and she loves orange and doesn't have an H&M nearby." Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteYeahhhh I'm seconding Monkeyface's comment. Because you just knew we don't have H&M in New Zealand and that I would fall in love with that orange blouse as soon as I saw it. ;)
ReplyDeleteBeing serious now, I am obsessed with your blazer! I love how you wore it and this sounds like so much fun.
Found your blog via Discovering Elegance - you've got wicked style! I'm really excited to try out some of your recipes as well.
