This dress was a part my 30 pieces last July when I participated in Kendi's 30 for 30 challenge. For that entire 30 days Vancouver experienced a mild heat wave. No chilly days, no rain, no gloom. Just sun! At the time this was a huge deal because the jeans and jackets I included in my 30 pieces were obviously not worn so I really wore 25 pieces for 30 days. Talk about a challenge.
This July we haven't been experiencing too much sunny weather so this past Saturday when the weather forecast said sun I put on this dress for the first time this summer and danced around happily. I was going to walk to Gastown for a couple hours and I was so excited to enjoy a sunny day. Halfway through my walk the clouds came out and it became chilly. Vancouver you tease. At that point I didn't care, I was going to wear this sundress regardless of the weather. Goosebumps are attractive right?
that happens to me all the time. it's sunny in the morning, then half way through the day it's either rainy or windy (or something else unfavourable). i'm on vancouver island & moving to vancouver in september, so it won't be a huge change!
ReplyDeleteyou look lovely as always! :)
You look so adorable!
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever trust the weather forecast. I usually have a different pair of shoes and a cardi or jacket in my car...just in case :)
The weather network currently tells me that it's sunny where I live. But, looking out the window would suggest it is gray and pouring rain! Haha, the weather network is so rarely right! You look adorable though! I absolutely love this mint color on you! So pretty!
ReplyDeletegreat dress! <3 rubygirlblog.com
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this outfit! Especially the cardigan... that color is gorgeous. It really looks good with your blog in the background (okay, that sounded really cheesy and weird but really, the seafoam blue with the coral/peach blog color? Awesome combination)
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!

Goosebumps are the new black! Or something not at all like that.
ReplyDeleteI love that cardigan with the dress!
I shout your title oh, so often. I feel your pain, Halifax is also quite rude where weather is concerned. That's where the trusty cardigan comes in, and your dress looks wonderful with it!
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is adorable, I love the color of your cardigan! THANKS so much for the comment, you asked me if my the false bottom lashes annoyed me. They were a bit uncomfortable, but I think it is because I am not used to wearing them all the time :/ You should give them a try!
ReplyDeleteI am now following your blog<3
LITTLE PETITE
I wish they'd just say they didn't know. I could respect the brutal honesty.
ReplyDeletethat dress is so pretty xxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteSO goosebump chic. It's sad how exciting it is for me when you wear clothes from places that I actually have access to in Americaland like Gap and Payless. The color of that cardigan is a DREAM.
ReplyDeleteThat always seems to happen to me! I try to keep a cardigan stuffed in my purse at all times just in case.
ReplyDeleteI love this dress and your hair looks great!
