Look ma! No coat!
Spring has sprung which means coats are being replaced with allergy medicine and I'll actually have to shave my legs before I wear skirts (oh how I love tights ;))
It also means that it's time to move the winter clothes to the back of the closet and bring out the spring and summer pieces. This is my favourite thing to do ever. I'm giddy just thinking about it!!
I know some people like styling clothes in fall and winter clothes because they can layer but I think I'm a spring and summer girl. Actually, now that I think about it... I probably only think I like summer clothes because I love summer activities so much. I love going for walks and being outside without freezing my butt off. Regardless, I'm excited for the spring and summer wardrobe I've slowly been compiling. It's mostly vintage and I'm in love with every single piece.
So how about you? Do you have a season you prefer to style outfits in? Are you sad to see winter go or are you like me and so excited for sun that you're ready to throw your winter coat in the nearest fire place?

Loooooove the weather we had today! I also talked about it in my post :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's back to rain tomorrow. Boo
Aw I'm so jealous of your warmer weather (although not looking forward to the no tights part either)! I don't think we'll get warmer days here for another month or so, so I'll live through your gorgeous tops and shorter bottoms for awhile.
ReplyDeletePS: Your dogs are so adorable :)
i like all the seasons!! well that is to say, at first. when warm weather comes around, i get soo excited to shed the layers, bring on the brights and show off my legs a little bit. but then when the fall and winter roll around i get soo excited to bring out my cozy sweaters and scarves and wear tights with everything!
ReplyDeleteI'm so in the middle.
Love the shoes. You've got good taste ;) ...And small feet! Tell your feet to grow so we can share shoes! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteChantelle
1) I think I like those dogs in pictures better than in real life. ;) They're cute when you can't hear them yapping. :P
ReplyDelete2) Chantelle - Size 8 is not small... you're crazy. However, it IS advantageous (is that a word?) to have the same size feet as Melissa. ;)
3) It snowed in Toronto today. It really made me appreciate the sun here today!!
awwww the puppies are adorable!!!! love the necklace hun xx
ReplyDeleteI love your pants!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally with you! I almost hate winter. There are a few things I like about it (like hot beverages!) but in the summer, I feel like I have so many more options because my main goal isn't to wear as much clothes as possible so I can stay warm. No Uggs in the summer! Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteYou always look adorable though. You don't seem to give up like I do. Ha ha!
Those stripes are awesome, and it's so good to see your doggies!
My favorite part of these pictures is that your not wearing a jacket!! love the vintage necklace!
ReplyDeletei love the carefree vibe that spring and summer can bring to your wardrobe. floaty blouses, bright colours, skirts, dresses... heaven!
ReplyDeleteWhen you said there were puppies on your blog, I totally didn't realize they were gonna be YOUR puppies in photos with YOU. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteWinter sucks. I'm so happy I moved away from Michigan. The only thing I miss about the season is, well, the layering!
I LOVE Spring and Summer... although this year I have literally nothing that fits. I need someone to provide me with THEIR credit card so I can do some much needed shopping ;)
ReplyDeleteAdorable dogs! & I love your pants and shoes! I have relatives in Vancouver, so whenever my family & I drive up there to visit, I'm always so excited to hit up Zara. Lol.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is lovely, btw (: I'm your newest follower!
I'm looking forward to drycleaning all my wool coats and putting them away for good! Also looking forward to packing away my boots and bringing out the ballet flats, oxfords, canvas sneakers, and pretty sandals.
