My Very First Giveaway!


Remember Ally? Turns out she's as generous as she is kind and adorable! She's offering one of my readers $50 for her shop, The Vintage Valley! (and to top it off, free shipping on the order!)

It's really easy to enter!

All you have to do is go to http://thevintagevalley.com and pick out one of your favourite pieces. Then just leave a comment here telling me which one it is and how you'd style it!

    i was actually checking out her shop last night! i love the items, but especially love this striped dress you have pictured. for summer i'd probably belt it with a cognac belt, throw on some gladiator sandals, and put my hair in a pony tail. perfect for summer!

    i am just obsessed with polka dots. my bathing suit is a 50s goddess style back and white polka dots. i have a2 polka dot dresses, 2 blouses, i shorts and 2 head scarves. i love them i love them! do you get the point?

    i LOVE the Ellen Tracy Sequined top...it's such a showpiece i wud probably just pair it with black skinny jeans and bright blue velvet pumps. for a dressier occasion, i'd pair it with a tight black mini skirt instead of the jeans, black t-strap heels, and a large bright blue clutch.

    Ooooh, I would pick the "Striped Prago Dress" and wear chunky wooden jewelry and brown gladiator sandals with it. I'd pair it with a navy tote bag with a rope handle! :) and red earrings

    Oh I love Ally- she's such a sweetheart! And of course, I've been drooling over her style forever! The Krause white lace dress she has for sale is completely gorgeous!
    I think I'd wear it as is, on a perfect spring day with some edgier heels to make it fun! Add in a wide brim hat and it's kind of completely perfect!

    The Navy Vintage Bella Dress is my favorite! Ally has already styled it so well! I would probably follow her example of the red lipstick and cute hairband, but also adding some white stockinngs as winter is coming up, along with some cute red flats!     There are always so many fabulous pieces in ally's shop, but I think my current fave is the Black ruffle blouse. I would probably style it with a bright pencil skirt, royal blue or fuschia.

    My favourite is the Cotton Rose Print Dress - it was love at first sight. Unique yet versatile and timeless. If one day it were mine, I will wear it with high tea, cakes and cream. Hair sleeked into a high bun, lips painted red, a pinch of blush that says 'Ooh, what lovely cake!' and pearl earrings like a lady should. Cream lacey socks for a little fun, under chunky platform wedges (in red, mustard or green) that screams 'here I come!'
